Jamshetji Nusserwanji Tata

Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata was an Indian pioneer industrialist, who founded the Tata Group, India's biggest conglomerate company.

 

He established the city of Jamshedpur.

The steel city of Jamshedpur originated in a small company town in the backwaters of eastern India as a new experiment in urbanism in 1907 and is considered to be a remarkable success story in the face of declining of company towns elsewhere in the world.
