I've always hated Jamshedpur.
Almost every small town boy wants to escape the place where he grew up. He wants to flee to a bigger city. Somewhere with more life. For him, his old city reminds him of the claustrophobia of his past life. For him, every moment spent away from the city is like taking a greedy draught of fresh air, which vitalizes him.
He wishes he never again has to return to his old city again.
But the pandemic shuttles him back to prison. Life in the big city was hard, but at least it was a life he chose. Not a life that was thrust upon him.
Back home, he checks the news every day. The Gods play with his hopes. One day cases fall, the next day they rise. One day he thinks he can go back, the next he is thrown into despair.
He realises he cannot live like that. Thrown around like a rag doll. He decides he will learn to love his city.
It's all in the mind anyway, right?
